Permissions
External Identities
Permissioned access to synchronised external content, is managed via External Identities associated with individual users and documents.
A synchronised user, can have any number of external identities associated with them. And these external identities are automatically used within search queries to only return content that has those same external identities associated with them.
Power Users
One key difference for synchronised content, is that it is not automatically visible to power users. This is big difference in behaviour, as currently all content within Interact is visible to power users.
For connector synchronised data, being a power user does not give you access to any synchronised external content which you do not have access to based on your own synchronised external identities.
Also, during impersonation you will not see any external content.
