Google Workspace March 2021 Update

You must update your Google Workspace settings by 24th March 2021

An update to the Marketplace framework will be released on 24th March. Redirect URIs must be updated before this date to ensure the ongoing service of your Google Workspace integrations. Please follow the instructions below.

With the update to Marketplace that is set to be released in March 2021, existing users will need to update the Redirect URLs associated with your Google Workspace integrations to ensure their consistent functioning.

These changes can be made in advance of the Marketplace update, and we advise that these changes are made as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to your Google Workspace integrations.

Step-by-step guidance for updating your Google Workspace application:

1. Navigate to https://console.developers.google.com/. Select your Google Marketplace project.

2. You will be directed to the Dashboard page. From here, click on the Credentials link in the left-hand menu.

3. Select your Google Marketplace application from under the OAuth 2.0 Client IDs header.

4. Scroll down to the Authorised redirect URIs header and click the ADD URI button.

5. In the text box that appears, enter the following URI: https://{YourIntranetDomain}/marketplace/gsuite/account/sign-in/oauth2 and click SAVE.
6. Once the new Redirect URI has been added, any Google Marketplace apps on your intranet will automatically update when the March 2021 Marketplace update is released – leading to zero downtime for your organization.
